Once again, Pedrali joined the project "alternanza scuola-lavoro" (school-to-work apprenticeship) for the students of "La Traccia" high school in Calcinate, Bergamo.
For this eleventh edition, the company relied on the designer Alessandro Busana, who decided to dedicate the learning experience to the traditional art of origami. He asked the fourth-year students of the Art High School to conceive, design and physically realise an “Ori-seat”, a seating mainly made of cardboard.
The students presented their projects on Wednesday 5th June, on the occasion of “A present passion”, the end-of-the-year festival taking place from May 31st to June 9th.
Through their presence in schools, the initiatives of #pedrali4education aim to introduce young people to the working world and to pass on to them the craftsmanship on which the company founds its origins.
